A March Update – in like a LION!!

A lot of our BTM friends have been asking what’s up with the group…so here’s the lowdown on what’s been happening lately!Beyond The Mountain means many things to us, but in a philosophical sense, the ability to identify with challenges, acknowledge them, and then move on.  We are constantly changing, and evolving. We’ve been putting the pedal to the metal – or pen to the paper, so to speak, writing new songs and collaborating and experimenting with our sound.

This month, we are focusing on our game plan for the year, what events and competitions we want to be a part of…What we do love, is our flexibility – meaning, we are a three piece group. At one point, we had 6 regular performing members, which is quite challenging to coordinate if you can imagine. With the three of us, we can play a wide range of venues at a moment’s notice – from large rock n’ roll joints like Lee’s Palace, to an intimate cafe for the brunch crowd. Gallery openings, charities, corporate events…we love it all! We make adjustments and curate set lists to fit with the listeners to whom we share our music with. Our roots remain grounded.
